The most glamorous sporting event of the year returns to Silverstone but, with the circuit’s contract due to expire, could 2019 really be the last ever British Grand Prix?!
In 2018 Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel passed the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas to win an action packed British Grand Prix which saw Lewis Hamilton claw his way from the back of the field, as a result of a first lap collision with Kimi Raikkonen, to secure second place and keep his World Championship title dreams alive.
For all three days that the Formula 1 cavalcade comes to Silverstone the programme of events has been designed to ensure the ultimate entertainment experience. Three hours of Formula 1 practice sessions on Friday, two hours of F1 track activity incorporating Final qualifying on Saturday, spectacular support events including the combative Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, the ultra competitive Formula 2 & GP3 Champtionship and finally all culminating with Sunday’s British Grand Prix.
Nothing compares to the exhilarating experience of actually being there!
